I'm really happy to share these photos by my husband, T. Scott Carlisle, of our friends Leigh Anne and Oakley. I hope you enjoy them. Leigh Anne's dress is from Ivory and White just down the road in Crestline. And the beautiful tart from Chez Lulu only a hop, skip and a jump away in English Village. Yum. If you don't mind, please take a moment to be in awe of the arbor made from foraged vines and branches, wrapped in vintage silk uphostery frabric. It took about one million hours to construct and I'm very proud of it. I can't take all the credit though because my husband, when not being a genius photographer happens to be an amazing architect, so he was able to help me build it "properly". Apparently, there was a lot I needed to learn about sound construction. It was so challenging at first that I think building it together actually helped our marriage get stronger...in the end. I'm pretty sure Scott wanted to yank a switch from arbor and one point and swat me with it but I digress... Anyway, Leigh Anne's hair and makeup were done by me. If I keep coming out of hair and makeup retirement I'm not going to have time for flowers...Oy vey! Styling by Ginny Au.
